The office of Pile Psychological Counseling Service opened in 1996 and provides service to Somerset County. We have since grown to also serve Cambria and Bedford Counties. Our goal is to help you cope more effectively with problems in daily living and to deal with inner conflicts that disrupt your ability to function effectively.

All of our counselors are licensed and certified professionals with over 30 years of experience who treat you with respect, dignity and confidentiality. Counseling can enable you to sort through the stress of everyday life.

Bruce Pile
Bruce Pile has been providing counseling services in Somerset County since 1980. He received his graduate degree from Frostburg State University in 1985. He received his Bachelors from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania.
Bruce is a member of the North American Association of Masters in Psychology. He is certified as a Clinical Psychotherapist and National Certified Psychologist. He is experienced in many types of counseling such as depression, anxiety, relationship and grief.

Sandy K. Sota has worked in the Social Services Field since 1991. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor with the state of Pennsylvania and a National Certified Counselor with NBCC. Sandy received her graduate degree in Community Agency Counseling from California University of Pennsylvania in 2000 and her doctorate in Spiritual Counseling from the University of Panama in 2003.
Sandy specializes in working with adults with depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, grief and trauma. Pet therapy is a special service that can also be provided.
